We were contacted by a customer to survey their property in Lancashire. The current roof was in a very poor state, rusted throughout, with no light coming through from the rooflights and allowing water to enter the building.
JDB recommended a complete removal of the existing roof and replacement with Trisomet Composite Panels offering a 25 year guarantee and FAIRS (factory assembled insulated rooflights) to provide an increase in natural light in the building.
A structural survey was conducted which provided our client with a report and calculations reassuring them that their existing building framework was suitable for a composite panel roof to be installed.
Internal safety netting, and scaffolding were installed before the project commenced, with start to finish taking approx, 2 weeks.
As you can see from the images, this old 2000m2 rusty dilapidated roof has been replaced with one that is modern, watertight, allowing natural light to flood into the premises.
